The club’s mission is to promote, develop and foster the growth of soccer within Leeds and Grenville. The club operates year round soccer programs based on the fundamental principal of long term player development (LTPD).

The club strives to create a lifetime enjoyment of soccer for players, coaches, managers and parents. Through a common belief system, curriculum and teaching methodology, we will help children find passion and excellence in the sport of soccer.

The club supports the Canadian Soccer Association’s (CSA) Pyramid of Player Development and Possession of the Ball Philosophy and Long Term Player Development as described and encouraged by the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA).

SLU History

St. Lawrence United Soccer Club began in 2007 and was established by Martin Noe and Amy Purvis. In it’s founding year the club began training and played home games at St. Lawrence College. The following year the club moved to the previous Grenville Christian College fields for training and games. In 2010 the club moved to the Brockville Soccer Fields where the club resides to this day.

The Ontario Soccer Association’s (OSA) Long Term Player Development plan, which was launched in 2013, has always been the foundation for St. Lawrence United Soccer Club’s curriculum since the inception of our club.
